Covered Car Transport - RussellsTransport delivered a Supercharged 2015 Hennessey Ford F150 Velociraptor 600 Supercharged pickup to TOP GEAR's film studio based at Dunsfold for the filming of Top Gear's Episode 6, Top Gear series 22 which aired on BBC2 on Sunday the 1st of March in the UK and on the 2nd of March in the USA.  The 2015 Hennessey Ford F150 Velociraptor 600 pickup featured alongside Chevrolet's mighty 2015 Silverado 2500HD pickup in a mountain rescue of Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond who was stranded atop a peak in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Episode 6 - Series 22 of TOP GEAR, aired on Sunday the 1st of March saw Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson and James May rescue fellow presenter Richard Hammond from a mountain in the Canadian Rockies and temperatures of below 10C, using a 2015 Hennessey Ford F150 Velociraptor 600 pickup and Chevrolet's 2015 Silverado 2500HD pickup. The two enormous pickups, featuring V8 engines with every conceivable addon are used to locate and rescue poor Richard Hammond who has been abandoned for 5 days by his fellow Top Gear presenters somewhere in the snowy Canadian wilderness, equipped with nothing much more than the basics plus three production team members with similar kit and a watch that when activated relays a distress signal via a lower polar orbit satelitte and summons a rescue team by broadcasting it's location for 24 hours.

The plot sees Top Gear's Jeremy Clarkson and James May racing the hugely powerful V8 pickups up the mountain for 10 miles in deep snow.  The Hennessey Ford F150 Velociraptor 600 pickup is an upgrade by Hennessey of the Ford F150, the biggest-selling vehicle in America. It has been that way for the past 32 years with over 30,000,000 million units sold.  Hennessey's upgrade of the Ford F150, limited to 500 pickups wins the race to the top as unfortunately the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD broke an axle despite James May's sedate handling of the hugely powerful pickup. An extremely irate Richard Hammond had to be rescued by a real rescue team as the race to the top meant that the winner would not have to drive poor Richard Hammond and his team back to Vancouver so race winner Jeremy Clarkson left Hammond and his team behind..  The 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD pickup and Top Gear's James May also needed rescuing ..
