Lamborghini Countach LP500S Super Car Transport

Instantly recognisable, the Lamborghini Countach is the mid-engined Supercar that Italian automaker Lamborghini produced from 1974 to 1990.  Ferruccio Lamborghini, an Italian manufacturing magnate, founded Automobili Ferruccio Lamborghini S.p.A. in 1963 to compete with established marques including Ferrari. The Countach was designed by Marcello Gandini who also designed Lamborghini's first super car, the Miura Sports Coupe in 1966 and it immediately became the most iconic Lamborghini. The Lamborghini trademark which first started with the Lamborghini Countach was the  scissor doors: hinged at the front with horizontal hinges, so that they lifted up and tilted forwards.  The Countach used a skin of aircraft-grade aluminium over a tubular space frame, as in a racing car. Although extremely expensive to build, it is immensely strong and very light and despite its size, the car weighs approximately 1,400 kg. Made almost entirely of flat, trapezoidal panels the Countach shape was wide and low (1.07 m), but not very long (only 4.1 m) the Super Car laid the brickwork for the sharply angled wedge-shaped Lamborghinis of the later years. The underbody tray was  made of fiberglass. The Lamborghini Countach LP500S Super Car outsold its predecessors, the Prototype LP 500. the LP 400 and the LP 400S in only two years from 1982 with a bigger, more powerful 4.8-litre 4754 cc engine.  In its three-year production run, the Lamborghini Countach LP500S sold 323 units.

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Super Car Transport

Built by Lamborghini from 2003 to 2013 and named after a famous breed of fighting bull the Gallardo became their best selling super car with 14,022 being built throughout its lifetime.  After many updates the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera (Superlight) and also named after a Spanish fighting bull made its debut in 2007 some 100 kg lighter than it's predecessors and with most metal parts replaced by carbonfibre, with a magnesium gearbox case the end result was an extra 10 bhp faster for the 5.0-litre V10 engine, making 522bhp at 8000rpm in total with  6-speed manual transmission, four-wheel drive and vastly improved handling and six-pot carbon-ceramic brakes. Handling like a race car the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera is more than worthy of the super car name.

Lamborghini Aventador LP 720-4 Super Car Transport

Launched on 28 February 2011 and designed by Italian designer Filippo Perini The Aventador LP 700–4 uses Lamborghini's new 700 PS (510 kW; 690 bhp) 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine.  The transmission uses a single-clutch seven-speed semi-automatic and  the new, electronically controlled, all-wheel drive system is supplied by Swedish company Haldex Traction.  There have been several different models released, including the 2013 Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster, the Aventador J, the Dreamliner Edition (2012), the Aventador LP 720-4 50° Anniversario which is a limited (200 units - 100 Coupe and 100 Roadster) version of the Aventador LP 700-4 commemorating the 50th anniversary of Automobili Lamborghini and thus one of the most exclusive models ever produced.  Also the Aventador airport vehicle (2013), the Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition celebrating the 50 year association between Pirelli tyres and Lamborghini in 2014,  and finally the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce super car, launched in March at the 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition and to be limited to 600 units worldwide.

Ferrari 458 Italia Super Car Transport

The Ferrari 458 is the two-seat berlinetta 458 designed by Pininfarina and manufactured by Ferrari S.p.A., an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer based in Maranello and founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929, as Scuderia Ferrari and now owned by Fiat.  Launched at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show the Ferrari 458 is a mid-engined sports car. It's predecessors include the the 2+2 Dino 308 GT4 in 1973 and the elegant 1994 F355 that many think of when considering the best and most memorable of the two-seat ‘baby’ Ferraris, not to be confused with the Ferrari Formula One race cars.  Enzo Ferrari designed 'baby' road car Ferrari's to fund Scuderia Ferrari - his passion.  There is nothing remotely junior about 562bhp or a top speed in excess of 200mph of the Ferrari 458 Italia powered by a 4,499 cc V8 engine. The 4.5-litre V8 develops 562bhp at 9000rpm and 398lb ft at 6000rpm featuring direct fuel injection, which is a first for Ferrari mid-engine setups in its road cars and utilizes  a dual-clutch 7-speed GETRAG gearbox.  Ferrari's official 0–100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is 2.9-3.0 seconds with a  top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph).  There have been several variants since 2009, including the 458 Italia Special Edition (2012), the 458 Spider (2011–), and the 458 Speciale (2013–).  There have also been several race edition 'one-offs' including the Ferrari SP12 EC (2012) built for legendary guitar-player Eric Clapton, the Pininfarina Sergio (2013) and the following racecar editions which include the 458 Challenge, the 458 Italia GT2, the 458 Italia GT3 and the 458 Italia Grand-Am. The 458 won "Car of the Year 2009" and "Supercar of the Year".

Bugatti Veyron Super Car Transport

The Bugatti Veyron EB 16.4 supercar is a mid-engined sports car, designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group and manufactured in Molsheim, France, by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.  Originally Automobiles Ettore Bugatti was a French car manufacturer of high-performance automobiles, founded in 1909 in the then German city of Molsheim, Alsace by Italian-born Ettore Bugatti.  Bugatti cars were known for their design beauty and for their many race victories.  The Veyron EB 16.4 is named in honour of Pierre Veyron, a Bugatti development engineer, test driver and company race driver who, along with co-driver Jean-Pierre Wimille, won the 1939 24 hours of Le Mans whilst driving a Bugatti. The "EB" in Bugatti Veyron refers to Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti and the "16.4" refers to the engine's 16 cylinders and 4 turbo-chargers.  Several versions of the Bugatti Veyron have been made since 2009.

The current Super Sport version of the Bugatti Veyron supercar  is recognized by Guinness World Records as the fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a top speed of 431.072 km/h (267.856 mph), and the roadster Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse version is the fastest roadster in the world, reaching an averaged top speed of 408.84 km/h (254.04 mph) in a test on 6 April 2013.  The Bugatti Veyron's massive air brake helps haul the SS to a standstill from 70mph in just 45.2 metres The Veyron features an 8.0-litre, quad-turbocharged, W16 cylinder engine, equivalent to two narrow-angle V8 engines bolted together attached to a common crank) in where the Veyron’s real beauty lies.  If a Bugatti Veyron were to set off from a standing start 10 seconds after a McLaren F1 – in which time the F1 will already be travelling at 130mph - the Bugatti Veyron supercar reaches 200mph at exactly the same time as the F1....
