Supporting Jeep with the launch of the new Jeep Avenger

Background:
Jeep reached out to us about showcasing the New Jeep Avenger at different locations across several months. They had a strict timetable and to add to that timetable we first had to collect the vehicle from Italy.

Challenges:

1. Distance: The car needed to be transported from there factory in Turin to numerous locations across the UK and NI.
2. Timings: The route included locations whereby the vehicle need to be transported over-night between different locations and venues ready for the next day.
3. Customs for Entering/Leaving the UK. Due to the vehicle being unregistered it had to be transported into the UK. This was achieved by raising a T1 transport document along with the relevant Import/Export Documents.

Solution:
After extensive planning following our clients needs, we dispatched one of our single enclosed car transporters to Turin to collect the vehicle. It then made its way to the UK and sent along on its route throughout the UK and Northern Ireland, we had dedicated 2 drivers that alternated every few weeks for this as it was crucial the drivers were able to meet the client’s needs.

Outcome:

A Success! The vehicle made it to all destinations within the allocated time frames and is now on sale within the UK
