Transporting of 8 Morgan 3 Wheelers

Chris and 7 members of a car club had organised a tour to the south of Spain with their 8 morgan 3 wheelers. They were all concerned about driving from the UK to Spain so they all decided that enclosed car transport was the best option to ensure their vehicles would arrive in pristine condition.

Challenges:

1. Distance: The car needed to be transported from Various areas of the UK to Malaga Spain—a journey of over 1500 miles.
2. Weather Conditions: The route included various weather conditions, including potential rainstorms and high temperatures, which could pose a risk to the vehicle.
3. Value: The value and sentimental value of each vehicle means that choosing enclosed transport would arrive without damage.
4. Customs for Leaving the UK. Due to the vehicles being transported there are temp export and transit customs required. This was all arranged by our team at Russell’s.

Solution:

Chris and the other members had done their research and got in contact with us at Russell’s Vehicle Management LTD specialising in Enclosed Vehicle Transport. Our State-of-the-art fleet of Enclosed transport meant that we could safely transport all 8 vehicles together in which allowed all vehicles to arrive together and minimise costs.

From confirming the booking with our booking team, we then dispatched one of our fully trained drivers on the agreed dates to load at various locations within the UK.

The process for our driver when arriving is Meet and Greet the client, the driver then inspects each vehicle and notes down any damages and takes numerous images and the client then signs to confirm the vehicle was collected in the condition that is described on the report, as soon as the report is signed the client receives a digital copy of this for their own records, once our driver had loaded all 8 vehicles he then departed for Malaga, VIA ferry from Dover to Calais, not before stopping at the Border to Complete the Customs from the UK side. Once arrived in France our driver then had another stop at the French Agents for Customs, this allows the vehicles to be used on the roads within the EU, once this process was completed our driver then had the drive down to Malaga. Once arrived the driver met the clients and delivered the vehicles which had arrived in the same condition as when loaded.

Outcome:

All 8 vehicles arrived in Malaga exactly as it had been loaded. All 8 clients were highly satisfied with the service provided by Russell’s Vehicle Management from Start to Finish
